Katy Perry has reacted to people’s theories that she could be JonBenét Ramsey.
JonBenét died in 1996 when she was just six years old.
It’s believed the young girl had been murdered after being found dead in the basement of her family home in Boulder, Colorado.
Her death went on to be ruled as a homicide, but nearly 30 years later, her killer is yet to be found.
The case got a new lease of life recently after the release of the Netflix documentary Cold Case: Who Killed JonBenét Ramsey last year.
But away from finding out who murdered the young girl all those years ago, some have suggested that JonBenét was never dead in the first place and that it was all a hoax.
Adding to the wildness of the conspiracy theory, some believed that ‘Firework’ hitmaker Katy Perry is the real JonBenét.
This theory first started making its way round the internet back in 2014, says US Weekly, and suggested that Perry’s real parents are Patsy and John Ramsey.

The singer’s somewhat resemblance to the JonBenét is what’s thought to have sparked the unfounded idea.
While Perry’s known for her dark hair, the award-winning music star has naturally lighter locks.
Conspiracy theorists have failed to note that the singer is five years older than JonBenét, however, with Perry celebrating her 40th birthday in October 2024.
Perry’s now responded to the claims after an AI-generated video of a photo of JonBenét morphed into her, making out that they were the same person.
Perry allegedly said of the video on social media: “Wait am i.”

The murder enquiry is still ongoing and a major breakthrough was made last year.
Following the popularity of the 2024 Netflix documentary on JonBenét’s death, her father said he received a letter from a woman claiming that her husband was her killer.
Elsewhere, it was said that the FBI has built a ‘profile’ of the killer, which paints him as someone who was in his 20s or 30s at the time and ‘infatuated with movies’.
DNA was found on JonBenét’s body at the time of her death, but police were unable to work out whose it was.
Her direct family (JonBenét’s parents and brother Burke) were officially cleared of being involved in the six-year-old’s murder in 2008, NBC News reported at the time.

Katy Perry has revealed her thoughts for her New Year resolution and Orlando Bloom certainly has a lot to look forward to come January.
From speaking out about what she gets up to on the first day of her period to talking about her sex life with fiancé Orlando Bloom, Perry is apparently Unconditionally herself when it comes to offering fans an insight into her life.
Getting down and dirty doing the dishes
During an appearance on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast in September, Perry spilled some of the x-rated secrets – well, not so secret anymore – about her and Bloom’s relationship.
Without naming him, she opened up about “If I come downstairs and the kitchen is clean, and you’ve done it all, and you’ve done all the dishes, and you’ve closed all the pantry doors, you better be ready to get your d**k sucked.
“I mean like literally. That is my love language. I don’t need a red Ferrari! I can buy a red Ferrari. Just do the f**king dishes. I will suck your d**k! It’s that easy.”
And clearly it’s working for the couple, Perry doubling down on the comments.

Perry’s New Year resolution
Perry filmed concert special Night of A Lifetime at Central Hall Westminster in London yesterday (December 11) and during the gig, a fan asked her what Bloom would say the singer’s most frustrating habit is.
Eluding to her comments made on Cooper’s podcast, Perry responded: “Maybe being on time which is constantly my New Year resolution. But I think it might be that I don’t do the dishes.
“But it’s better for him now that I don’t do the dishes.”
Later on in the performance she added: “He does the dishes, he gives me water.”
And Bloom certainly seems to have no issues with the arrangement either.
Bloom’s response
When Perry first made the comments, Bloom took to the comments section of the video – shared on the Call Her Daddy podcast’s Instagram account – to respond.
He wrote: “I’ve cleaned the whole house.”
And fans of the pair have been left in utter stitches by all their comments.
One wrote: “You better believe Orlando is scrubbing the entire kitchen right now.”
“Orlando’s already has that kitchen cleaned, he’s working his way to the bathroom, laundry,” another wrote, as a third commented: “I have so many questions.”

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom were among the most noteworthy celebrities of the 2010s, meaning their more shocking and awe-inspiring moments will be remembered by the general population during that time for the long haul.
In most cases, this is in reference to their work. For Perry, this means her songs, such as ‘Dark Horse’ and ‘Roar’, which were huge hits once upon a time.
Meanwhile, for Bloom, it means us remembering his roles in movies such as Pirates of the Caribbean and the latter two The Hobbit films.

Most notably, the image of Orlando Bloom paddle boarding naked in July 2016 will go down as one of the most memorable things of the era for people who experienced it – for better or for worse.
Seemingly, it remains a topic of discussion that the now-engaged couple is asked about frequently by the media, and Katy Perry has finally shed some light on the circumstances that led to Bloom’s full-frontal decision.
“Well it was Europe,” Perry defended when asked about the scandalous photos in an interview with Howard Stern back in 2020.
“We had had a pretty chill time for a week and everywhere we looked it was like everybody was naked,” Perry continued, “It was Italy, and I think he wanted to fit in with the locals.”
While the setting of the trip does aid in explaining why Bloom decided to strip on that fateful day, Perry’s lack of nudity came due to a sense of foresight for the “Teenage Dream” singer.
“He tried to get me [to strip] and I was like, ‘nah,’” Perry revealed earlier in the Stern interview.

Perry was then asked if her hesitation was because she knew photos of the occasion would inevitably be seen by the public in some way.
“In the back of my mind, I am like Jim Carrey in The Truman Show a little bit, so I thought maybe there would be a chance,” Perry explained.
“I would say I’m a little bit more of the pragmatic in the partnership.”
In the years since their 2016 vacation in Italy, Perry and Bloom have had a baby daughter together and are planning on getting married, making the paddle boarding photos a distant memory for the couple. However, back in 2016, the photos of Bloom’s package circulated like wildfire online.
“All of a sudden, he is number one trending on Twitter and I was like, ‘How?!’”
